All the green you need…
You will appreciate, that even in the dead of winter the conservatory is alive with new growth.
Windham Gardens is a colonial-era estate set in the heart of historic Windham Center in northeastern Connecticut. The grounds consist of three buildings: the circa 1750 house, the old wood shop, and the conservatory. A recent renovation of the conservatory building brings a bespoke lodging experience to the discerning traveler.
Surrounded by gardens, the conservatory consists of a large bedroom with ensuite bath. Pale blue antique French doors separate the bedroom from the kitchenette and garden room, where small flowering trees, orchids and other rare tropical plants fill the room with life.
Three seasons a year the garden bursts with color. Enclosed by more than fifty white hydrangeas, the garden contains a blue and white room, colonial stone walls, dahlia beds as well as several intimate spaces to enjoy a glass of wine or a cup of tea.
